From profile extrusion to shutter manufacturing

Our department dedicated to shutters and blinds consists of a young and dynamic team, born in 2017 to respond in an innovative way to the requests of window/door fitters, combining industrial-scale production with the choice to preserve the value of craftsmanship and customization. 

Significant investments in aluminium extrusion machinery and in state-of-the-art working centres, together with personnel specialized in the assembly and mounting of hardware, allow the entire production cycle to be managed internally, from the raw material procurement to the finished product.
Each manufacturing phase is carefully monitored to eliminate any defects or imperfections. Furthermore, the attention to finishes and details, as well as the use of the best hardware available on the market, ensure a high-quality product.

Groppalli uses aluminium for its range of products because – in addition to ensuring high quality, fineness, modern design and long life – it represents an eco-friendly choice that respects the environment. 

Aluminium is a precious, light and versatile metal, which can be entirely recycled. Because of its high resistance to atmospheric agents and in particular to deterioration caused by sun rays, it is perfectly suitable for a long-term furnishing project.
Aluminium is a synonym for colour variety, functionality, mechanical resistance and energy saving and – for this reason – it is widely used in all fields of construction and architecture.

CUSTOMIZATION & SERVICES

The importance of details

Our shutters are tailor-made according to our customer’s requests and can be adapted to the most complex structures, such as arch and trapezoid shapes. All models are available in both the swing and sliding versions. Moreover, hardware is customizable in terms of design, colour and movement mechanism of the adjustable blades. 

 Each product is provided with the relative DoPs, certifying the values of resistance to wind load, thermal comfort, GTOT and additional thermal resistance, certified by the Giordano Institute, an ACCREDIA certification body.
 Our qualified technicians assist the customer step by step, from the design phase, to the finishes, up to the installation on the construction site. Thanks to a wide warehouse and its own means of transport, Groppalli is able to guarantee a fast and widespread delivery service throughout the regions of Northern Italy.

A wide choice of solutions allows to create innovative and personalized furnishing projects, suitable for any kind of context and environment, from a modern apartment to an old house located in the city centre. 

The great variety of colours and finishes available allows to meet any aesthetic requirements related to each territory. Hardware is made of long-lasting and resistant materials. Accessories and details are designed to offer high quality solutions.
Unlike other materials, aluminium shutters do not require any maintenance and do not deteriorate over time. Their design allows for precise and smooth installation, as well as quick and easy periodic cleaning.

A model for every need

Each product is available in ten versions – equipped with wall hinges or frame – and is provided with its specific hardware, designed in collaboration with the main manufacturing companies on the market.

The model MARGHERITA represents the classic shutter with fixed blades, while GIRASOLE blades can be manually moved, allowing the user to adjust the passage of light up to an almost total obscuration of the room, such as with the model NINFEA.

QUERCIA was designed to be integrated into historic and old buildings: its blades remind of typical wooden shutters, while the model GINESTRA represents the classic "Genoese solution” with an openable door, which can be produced both with fixed blades or with adjustable blades.

The sunshade GLICINE is characterized by a light and versatile structure, which – at the same time – ensures protection from the sun and atmospheric agents.

FAGGIO is designed to combine together the characteristics of total obscuration and the idea of lightness, while the model CEDRO conveys an impression of solidity. Both models can be manufactured with vertical or horizontal blades.

In addition to the classic bladed articles, Groppalli offers models such as CASTAGNO, which converts the classic concept of "roof shingles" into a modern product, and ABETE, both characterized by an insulating layer.
