A solar shading system made from traditional ovaline, with a 75 mm gap between the slats. It provides protection from the sun, wind and the elements whilst maintaining a non-intrusive design that allows light to pass through, with a light, airy appearance and customisable colour options, making it ideal for balconies, gardens and roofs.
What does it involve?
Lightweight, versatile, customisable
The Glicine solar shading system is a lightweight and versatile shading solution, ideal for balconies, gardens and rooftops. It is available in three structural variants — with a frame on three sides, on four sides or frameless — and can be fully customised in terms of colour to blend in with the architectural surroundings.
Manufacturing follows an integrated ‘zero-kilometre’ supply chain — with Aluminium Extrusion, painting and assembly carried out in-house — which guarantees quality and fast delivery times.
Why Groppalli?
Primary aluminium and a 15-year DFV guarantee
Unlike recycled aluminium from uncontrolled sources, Glicine uses only primary aluminium extruded in-house: millimetre-level geometric stability, lightness and high structural resistance to wind and the elements.
The DFV surface treatment, backed by a 15-year guarantee, is not just a simple coating but a technological shield: a written guarantee of colour retention and paint film integrity, which reduces maintenance and the risk of flaking caused by UV rays and salt spray.
