Emergency exits

Certified aluminium emergency exits

Doors and windows for emergency exits, designed to ensure a rapid and safe evacuation. Integrated into a thermal break system and fitted with high-performance hardware, they are highly customisable and minimise the risks associated with regulatory compliance, whilst blending seamlessly into any architectural setting.

What does it involve?

GL80 system for escape routes, compliant with VVCP1

The GL80 System’s emergency exits comprise doors and windows & shutters designed for escape routes, ideal for shops, showrooms, industrial complexes, schools and public buildings. The system features a 71 mm fixed frame and a 34 mm thermal break with polyamide splices.

It is fitted with high-performance hardware to the Cava 16 standard: certified panic bars, heavy-duty hinges for intensive use, and perimeter sealing compatible with laminated safety glazing or solid panels. Compliance is guaranteed by the VVCP1 system for escape routes, supplemented by the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).

Why Groppalli?

Customisable, certified, from a single supply chain

In-house manufacturing management, which does not rely on external semi-finished products, makes the finished products highly customisable: their aesthetic integration is suited to both high-end settings, such as 5-star hotels, and industrial and logistics environments.

The range includes dedicated accessories and panic bars in minimalist designs or push-bar styles, which can also be fitted with an electric lock for intelligent access control management. The defining feature remains total control over the supply chain, combined with a high-level certification package.

Applications

Where are they used?

  • Commercial and industrial: high-occupancy environments or those subject to strict fire safety regulations.
  • Public and community buildings: schools, healthcare facilities, public administration offices, banks and accommodation facilities.
  • Retail and hospitality: hotels, shopping centres, showrooms and high-traffic venues, featuring a minimalist design and electronic locks for day-to-day access.
  • Industrial and logistics: warehouses and storage centres, either as standalone structures or combined with large glazed sections and ribbon windows.
  • Sustainable architecture: thanks to the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), which tracks the environmental impact from the Billet to the finished window or door.
