What does it involve?
The GL80 system: 71 mm frame, 34 mm thermal break
We have developed the GL80 system for windows and French windows, based on a 71 mm frame — also available in an oversized version — which is ideal for spanning wide openings whilst maintaining impeccable structural stability. Each primary alloy profile is cast and extruded in our own factories: total control over the production chain eliminates intermediary costs, guarantees consistent quality and ensures reliable delivery times.
The 34 mm polyamide thermal break profiles drastically reduce thermal bridges and ensure a high level of air permeability, water tightness and wind tightness (AAV), whilst fully complying with the requirements for eligibility for the Ecobonus. Modular and interchangeable components offer architects and window and door fabricators maximum design freedom.

- In-house Aluminium Extrusion and a short supply chain: manufacturing begins with the Aluminium Extrusion using customised extrusion dies at the Borgonovo plant, thereby reducing reliance on external suppliers and ensuring production continuity and reliable lead times.

- Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification: an ‘ecological passport’ attesting to the system’s sustainability, ideal for private construction projects and a requirement for public tender specifications.
- Structural flexibility: 71 mm (or larger) frame, double glazing from 28 to 49 mm, square or bevelled glazing beads, frame flanges of 30/45/60 mm for each installation point.
