In 1995, thanks to twenty years’ experience in the moulding sector, Groppalli began to focus on the market for wall-mounted boiler components. Its strong focus on technological research enabled the company, the following year, to launch a new die-cast elbow with an internal radius, which revolutionised the design of intake and exhaust flue pipes for wall-mounted boilers. In 1998, the enormous success of Groppalli’s products necessitated the construction of a new industrial building, housing new offices and production departments. In 2000, the company was equipped with a fully automated warehouse and an IT system that enabled the reorganisation and automation of all business processes. In 2004, following an acquisition, Groppalli entered the market for modular systems for industrial plant engineering, supplying the electrical and plumbing sectors in particular. In 2007, the ongoing development into new markets led to the opening of a major manufacturing plant in Turkey, where high-quality manufacturing is combined with competitive costs. In 2008, the new automated warehouse and logistics service were inaugurated in Italy, revolutionising the way the customer-supplier relationship is conceived. In particular, significant investments in logistics made it possible to minimise the production chain, guaranteeing customers immediate availability and fast deliveries, even for small batches. In the same year, the sharp rise in demand for Groppalli products in foreign markets led to the expansion of manufacturing facilities in Turkey and the acquisition in Spain of Fig SL, a local company specialising in the manufacture of Flue Systems. In 2011, G.AL was established in Turkey, a company dedicated to the Aluminium Extrusion of tubes and aluminium profiles, thereby enabling the Group to diversify its production activities and enter new markets. In 2014, the Group’s internationalisation process received a major boost with the construction of a new plant in Spain and the establishment of Groppalli HVAC, a Chinese manufacturing subsidiary set up to serve the rapidly expanding Asian market. In 2015, the plant in Turkey was also equipped with an automated warehouse and a logistics service for customers. In 2016, a new factory for the production of aluminium shutters and blinds was established in Italy. The new products proved so successful that, in 2021, Groppalli built a major new production facility for Aluminium Extrusion and the manufacture of aluminium windows.
