Blanking and cold forming moulds
Shearing, bending and cold deep-drawing moulds for the manufacturing of high-precision metal components, designed and manufactured to order.
Bespoke moulds for cold-forming sheet metal processing
Groppalli designs and manufactures cold-forming and cold-stamping dies for the component manufacturing process, which involves the production of high-precision metal components. The solutions are developed to ensure reliability, consistent production and the optimisation of industrial processes.
Progressive moulds and special tooling
The service includes the design, manufacture and maintenance of dies for blanking, bending and cold forming, intended for sheet metal processing and the production of technical metal components. We manufacture progressive dies, specialised tooling and customised components, developed to meet the specific production requirements of each customer.

Precision in construction and speed of response
Our high manufacturing precision, rapid response times and the experience we have gained in the processing of technical components enable us to develop reliable and durable moulds. Managing the entire production cycle in-house ensures greater quality control, shorter lead times and maximum flexibility.
Where are they used?
Blanking and deep-drawing moulds are used in the manufacture of metal components for HVAC systems, the automotive sector, industrial equipment and mechanical systems, both for new production runs and for the refurbishment of existing tooling.

What sets our moulds apart
- Progressive moulds and special tooling
- Precision CNC processing on 3- and 5-axis machining centres
- Manufacture of customised components and parts
- High production repeatability
- Maintenance, overhaul and refurbishment of moulds
- Reduction in machine downtime
- Fully customisable to meet the customer’s requirements
Steels used for blanking moulds
The choice of steel is tailored to the function of each component of the mould: from the base to the forming parts, right through to the blades subject to the greatest wear, which are hardened to over 60 HRC.
- C45 — structural steel for the mould base
- 1.2343 — forming and deep-drawing components: stop pins, spacers, bending punches
- X155CrVMo12-1 — extrusion dies, punches and blades with high wear resistance, hardened to over 60 HRC
- SLEIPNER — cold processing of high-strength sheet metal, suitable for PVD and CVD coatings
- US2000, ASP2005, CPM — powder metallurgy steels for blades offering extremely high strength and toughness
- CORRAX — stainless steel for food and medical applications
